Distilled in 1993 in the Scottish Speyside distillery Allt-à-bhainne, aged over 23 years in an exBourbon Hogshead and then bottled by the independent bottler Wemyss in 2016 to only 228 bottles.
Aroma: strong notes of jasmine tea and fresh mint, then sweet strawberry gum, lokum and green leaves, behind it freshly cut grass and damp forest soil with moss Taste: intense sweetness of citrus and toffee, with vanilla and mint again - followed by notes of herbs, especially tarragon and white pepper Finish: fresh peppermint and tart notes of black tea leaves
