The result is a rich, powerful Single Malt with pronounced notes of dark fruits and strong chocolate.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Bowmore 18 year old Deep & Complex tastes like
- Nose: ripe, dark fruits - especially plums and cherries, with dark chocolate, toffee - and a good portion of peat smoke
- Palate: very nicely balanced - again the fruits and the chocolate - followed by dates and molasses, some caramel and roasted coffee beans
- Finish: long, sherry- heavy finish with lots of fruit and Peat
