Product information "Copper Dog 40%vol. 0,7l"
The creator of this elegant Speyside Blended Malt Whisky is no less than the Craigellachie Hotel in Scotland.
Only eight select single malt whiskys can be found in this fruity, delicate-spicy whisky again.
Named after the "smuggling tool" of the distillery staff of yesteryear, the Copper Dog was a copper, elongated container with a chain, which the staff secretly filled with whisky and hid under their pants legs and smuggled out of the distillery.

Nose: distinct aromas of ripe pears and apples, mild honey and heather - some barley
Taste: dark chocolate and nuts, followed by ripe oranges and mild, spicy notes
Finish: fresh baked and honeyed fruit

Nicht schlecht und natürlich sehr preiswert. Für unseren Geschmack allerdings fehlt es an Komplexität, Copper Dog ist etwas einseitig stak torfig. Wir geben deshalb nur 4 Sterne, aber zu dem Preis kann es ja jeder selbst testen.

Sehr aromatisch und rund im Geschmack.
Etwas viel Heidekraut-Aroma - dies ist ein Scherz.
Ich wollte ich könnte alle Aromen extrahieren - so wie die Fachleute es können.
Ich kann nur beurteilen dass man für das Geld einen tollen Whisky bekommt.
