Ballechin is the peaty-smoky variant of the single-malt distillery Edradour.
This Single Malt Whiskey matured for 12 years in a former port wine barrel, distilled on April 26, 2004, bottled on February 7, 2017 at only 418 bottles.

Aroma: sweet aromas of dark Port wine, dark, ripe fruits and raisins are recognizable, in addition a strong portion warm wood smoke and peat
Taste: again the fruits and the port wine, plus campfire smoke and notes of old leather - nutty tones and heather
Finish: long on the finish - warming and soft with fruity notes
