After the first filling of the Smugglers' Series - The Illicit Stills - in 2015, now follows the second bottling - The High Seas.
With this filling Arran celebrates the time of the black distillery in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Combined in this bottling are single malts of different barrel types, exRum cask finishes, 50ppm phenol content peated malt whiskeys from exBourbon barrels, and unpearled malts from first-fill exBourbon barrels barrels.
The elegant gift box represents a book whose pages have been so scented that the bottle, which is modeled on the old bottle shape of bygone days, fits.
