For up to eight years this rum matures in former bourbon and single malt whiskey barrels, used are about 40% heavy distillates and about 60% light to medium distillates.
Aroma: fruity-sweet with slightly nutty aromas

Günstiger als der typische Botucal Reserva Exclusiva für 35.- ist dieser hier, und er kommt schon deutlich schärfer daher. Mit Eis ist das aber kein Problem mehr und zum mixen reicht dieser hier völlig aus.

Der Ron Botucal Mantuano ist für mich keine Nachfolger für den Ron Botucal. Weniger mild und Süße, aber dafür mehr Würze hat der Botucal Mantuano. Der Botucal Reserva Exclusiva ist süßer, schmeckt sahnig und cremig nach Schokolade und schmeckt mir viel besser.
