Wemyss chose an exBourbon barrel from 1998 for this single-cask bottling, 18 years matured this Mortlach from Speyside in Scotland, then wemyss bottled the cask in 2016 at only 306 bottles.

Aroma: at the beginning like sticky rum cake with cherries, then clearly caramelized ginger and orange syrup with exotic spices
Taste: Kasslerschinken with citrus icing, in addition to fresh carrots with gingerbread !, behind red baked apples and currant jam
Finish: warm and tingling in the finish - spicy with a buttery mouthfeel and sweet fudge
