A truly "tropical" filling of tomatin.
Distilled on May 18, 2007, this Single Malt Whiskey matured for nine years from the first to the last day in 2016 in former Caribbean barrels (barrels of 200 liters each).

Aroma: tropical fruits - especially pineapple and coconut, some mango and guava - sweet cane
Taste: the aroma promises what the taste holds - pineapple, creamy coconut cream, ripe bananas, sugar cane and molasses - over all creamy vanilla
Finish: a long, fruity finish - the fruits remain present for a long time

Aroma: flach, ein bißchen Vanille, ein bißchen Zitrusfrüchte (Orange), ein bißchen Süße (Honig, Karamell)
Mund: starker Antritt, leicht süß und prickelnd im Mund, dazu etwas Würze.
Abgang: eher kurz, Süße verfliegt schnell in Bitterkeit. Es bleibt lediglich eine unangenehme Bitterkeit.

Fazit: Schlechtes Fass-Management!
