The Laphroaig The Cask Lore is a strong Islay Single Malt Whisky, composed of different types of barrel, such as first and refill sherry and bourbon Casks.
Nose: Complex with a lot of smoke and influence from the sea - dark chocolate, vanilla and soft toffee - over all roasted aromas and traces of damp ash
Palate: the vanilla and the roasted notes remain - becoming spicier with much peat smoke - fruity notes resonate
Finish: long finish with smoky sweet notes

Super toller Laphroig, auch etwas besonderes !

Für Rauchliebhaber ein Muss. Schon beim öffnen der Flasche kommen die Raucharomen zum tragen, wobei das Meer deutlich riechbar ist, ebenso die dunkle Schokolade, die deutlich wahrnehmbar scheint. Im Geschmack treten Malz, Gewürze, Röstaromen Nüsse und Torf hervor. Eine leichte Schärfe ist deutlich schwenkbar. Ein langer Abgang zeichnet diesen Whisky aus. Ein echter Laphroaig ...
