Distilled in copper pot stills, refined with noble botanicals such as the classic juniper berries, plus orange peel, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom.
The Bathtub Gin is made in very small batches produced.
Presented in a striking guise - the bottle is wrapped in brown paper, with a cord and wax seal.
Bathtub Gin & Tonic - Recipe
Pour 50ml Ableforth's Bathtub Gin over ice in a highball glass, fill with tonic water and garnish with an orange wedge
Tasting Notes: This is how Ableforth's Bathtub Gin tastes like
- Nose: clearly juniper berries, then cardamom and orange blossoms
- Palate: creamy and mouth-filling - again the juniper berries, then earthy notes of various botanicals
- Finish: the juniper berries fade into the background and make room for cardamom and cinnamon - followed by orange peel
