Product information "Glendronach Peated 46% vol. 0,7l"
Glendronach's tamped single malt whiskey, initially stored in exBourbon barrels, then in exOloroso and ex Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Aroma: ripe gooseberries with cinnamon and sugar, with some citrus fruit - then delicate peat flavors, ground barley and traces of vanilla toffee
Taste: spicy oak notes and heather honey with rose petals and barley sugar - over it a warming note of white pepper - then the peat and bonfire embers
Finish: fruity on the finish with a clear peat note and heather fire

Leichtes Zitrusfruchtaroma mit sehr angenehmen Torfaromen Anklängen von Vanilletoffee, das auch geschmacklich wahrnehmbar ist.
Der Geschmack zeigt leichte Anklänge von Eiche und Honig und natürlich deutlich den Pfeffer, der Torf zum Schluß mit Erinnerung an Lagerfeuerromantik.
Ein fruchtiger Abgang mit dem Geschmack von grünen Stachelbeeren und deutlicher Torfnote, ein genialer Whisky.

Wer rauchige Whiskies und Glendronach mag, kann hier getrost zugreifen. Trotz des Torfes bleibt der Brennereicharakter deutlich erkennbar.

Nicht ganz so schön komplex wie "Peated Port" aber für den Preis durchaus eine runde Sache

Für eine erste rauchige Abfüllung nach vielen Jahren kann man nur eins sagen: Hut ab, echt
gelungen. Schön das er jetzt in das Standardsortiment übernommen wird. Der Rauch ist deutlich vorhanden, überdeckt fast die Vanille, Zitrusfrüchte und Zimt, trotzdem schmeckt er
würzig, auch im Abgang wieder Rauch und ein Hauch Sherry aus den Oloroso und PX Fässern.
