The second batch of Arran The Bothy was bottled in June 2016 to 12,000 bottles.
First stored in first-fill exBourbon barrels, then aged for at least 18 months in smaller (Quarter Cask) barrels of American white oak.
Aroma: to start with, the Arran-well-known citrus aromas and sweet spices of cinnamon and vanilla
Taste: clear pineapple and fresh apple pie with roasted brioche - again the citrus and malty notes
Finish: long and balanced with spicy notes, some lemon and vanilla

Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Vollmundige Süße, einfach ein hervorragender Geschmack und bei 55,2 % kann man noch mit der Wasserzugabe spielen um seine optimale Geschmacksrichtung einzustellen. Ein herrlicher Scotch zu einem sehr guten Preis.
