Product information "Kiln Embers blended malt Scotch whiskey Wemyss Malts 46% vol. 0,7l"
Unfortunately, Kiln Embers is a limited bottling of Wemyss, for this Vatted Malt, 65% of the island's peated whiskeys were heavily used - resulting in a very smoky-peaty whiskey.

Aroma: like dust from a harvested barley field, with aromas of salted lemons and sweet smoked ham - spearmint in the background
Taste: warm pastries and orange peels, roasted over wood fire and heather peat - some rosemary
Finish: long with sweet smoke

Es muss nicht immer ein Single Malt sein, auch ein schöner Blend passt zu einem schönen Abend.

Schöner Whisky aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt trotz des erkennbaren Peat und der älteren Verschnitte meiner Meinung nach nicht. Eher im Bereich bis 30,-¤.
