This Single Malt Whisky matured for 16 long years in Speyside, Scotland, near Tomintoul.
The result is a fruity, spicy single malt Whisky, pleasantly soft and elegant in taste.
It is considered one of the smoothest whiskies on Scottish Speyside: Tomintoul is equally popular with beginners as well as a relaxed after-work dram. The single malt from the picturesque Cairngorms National Park has been produced using traditional methods since the distillery was founded in 1964.
Robert Fleming has been directing Tomintoul's four tall, high-flowing pot stills for over 20 years. As a fourth-generation master distiller, the distiller has significantly shaped the extremely soft, malty-floral Tomintoul character - and created accessible “gentle drams” that are award-winning and inexpensive at the same time.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Tomintoul 16 year old tastes like
- Nose: at the beginning soft, ripe fruits, plus hazelnut and vanilla
- Palate: light in taste with balanced spicy and malty notes, nutty with light oak tones
- Finish: velvety-soft in the finish, then becoming spicier

Das der ausverkafut ist, ist schade, denn er hat mich mit einer Vielzahl an Aromen absolut überzeut.
