Oban selects this filling from three different barrel types (exSherry Casks, refill casks with new oak cask-ends and refill American Oak Hogsheads) - the whiskeys are mashed and matured in small oak barrels.

Aroma: plenty of sea salt, clearly roasted coffee, light citrus and oak flavors
Taste: spicy with juicy Christmas cake, sweet brown sugar and again the oak
Finish: still a light sweetness, fruchitge and smoky notes - very elegant
