John Distilleries in Goa, India produces the Brilliance from Indian barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas, the whiskey matures in exBourbon casks for three to five years.
The climate in India causes the alcohol in the barrels to evaporate extremely fast - about 12-13% per year, which is why the whiskey matures faster than its European and American relatives.
Nose: intense nougat aromas, pudding with raisins and orange blossom honey - lots of vanilla - delicate and fresh
Taste: barley and demerara sugar, spices, some cinnamon and citrus fruits
Finish: again the barley, honey and a gentle spiciness
