Glenlivet Founder's Reserve
The Founder's Reserve commemorates founder of distillery George Smith, who opened the distillery in 1824 - hence the Georgian blue on the bottle and the gift box.
Nose: Dates and plums aromas rise first, then apricot and orange, some toffee and raisins - in the background chocolate, cinnamon and lovage
Taste: fruity, as the aroma suggests - pleasantly sweet, now more toffee and chocolate, some anise and apple pie
Finish: a creamy toffee note is present, again chocolate and raisins - some oak and barley - warming

Flach und ohne Charakter
Ich persönlich kann diesen Whiskey nicht empfehlen, hier ist mehr schein als sein im Spiel. Aufmachung gut, nosing noch ok, aber geschmaktlich leider sehr flach (wahrscheinlich sehr junger Whiskey). In dem Preissegment würde ich dann eher zu einen Tallisker 10 Jahre raten.

Der Lieblingswhisky von meinem Vater. Trinke ich auch sehr gerne...Zu Empfehlen wenn es einem mal zu gut geht.
