Tamdhu presents the first bottling in barrel size!
Matured exclusively in exSherry casks, a small number of barrels were selected and married together for this bottling.

Aroma: red berries, sultanas and walnuts - plus aromas of pecan nuts, delicate citrus aromas, creamy vanilla and cake dough
Taste: strong and rich with distinct sherry notes, spices and dried fruits - as well as lighter fruits like apricot and orange - in the background cream brulee
Departure: complex and malty, pastries and toast with jam - pleasantly fruity

Ich bin kein Whiskyfan und habe nur nach meinem Bauchgefühl und den entsprechenden Erläuterungen zu diesem Produkt gekauft, da unser Sohn ein bekennender Whiskyfan ist und es für ihn ein Geschenk war. Kam bestens an !!

Klasse

Rauchige Islay Whiskys sind "normalerweise" meine Favoriten. Dieser hier ist einer der nichttorfigen, die ich ohne Vorbehalte empfehlen kann. Um 60 Euro ist dieser Speyside ein Preis-Leistungs-Hammer, kann ohne Probleme mit anderen oft teureren Speysidern wie Glenfarclas 18, Macallan 18 oder Glen Elgin 16 mithalten.
