Product information "Laphroaig PX Cask 48% vol. 1.0L"
Three different types of cask are used in succession for the maturation of this Laphroaig.
First, the single malt whisks whiskey in exBourbon barrels, then in quarter casks and then in exPedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Aroma: clearly the sherry - sweet raisins and sultanas, many ripe fruits, with light peat flavors and liquorice - in the background almonds and marzipan
Taste: now tons of peat and oak, with a lot of dark sherry and fruits
Finish: sherry and peat again in perfect balance with oak notes - dry on the finish

Ein sehr sehr leckeres Tröpfchen. Schön torfig und doch geschmacksintensiv auf der Zunge, Marzipan und Sherry deutlich zu schmecken!
