Talisker skye matured in carefully selected, partially burned American oak barrels.
The single malt whisky has an easily accessible taste with the well-known characteristics of the distillery of the Scottish Hebrides - smoky and sweet with a spicy note.
Nose: fresh oranges and mango, lightly peppery and earthy - traces of sea salt and smoke
Taste: soft and sweet at the beginning, with very light smoke, then salted caramel and honey-coated BBQ ribs, followed by a sharp spiciness - now more smoke
Finish: long and warm, with the Destiller-typical pepper note and traces of sweet smoke
