Product information "Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Vermouth barrels 47% vol. 0,7l"
Grundy Mill is a resurrected distillery in Pennsylvania, which had to close the consequences of prohibition, like so many others.
Today, Rye whiskey is being distilled here according to the old tradition, the grain is sourced exclusively from local farmers.

After a typical Rye Whiskey's short maturation time of at least six months in new American Quarter Oak American American Cask Barrels, the whiskey matures for another three months in former wormwood barrels of the Quady Winery.
This creates warm, sweet notes and a spicy character.

Aroma: clearly orange, cinnamon, pepper and vanilla
Taste: first of all the spice and dryness of the Rye-Whiskey before the sweet vermouth becomes more and more clear towards the end
Finish: round and complex - warming finish with fruit and spice
