Awarded Grand Gold at ISW 2015 (International Spirits Competition)

A Vatted Malt Whisky (only selected single malt whiskys from the Scottish islands of Jura, Islay, Arran and the Orkney Islands were used for this bottling) from Douglas Laing.
A tribute to the sea using the finest maritime malt whiskys.

Rock Oyster is a translation of the delicious rock oysters from the depths of the sea where, with good luck, you can find a pearl.
This malt whiskey hides the treasure in the bottle - delicate, tasteful and rich in flavor with aromas of the stormy, North Atlantic Sea.
As with Douglas Laing, of course, without the addition of dyes and without cold filtering.

Nose: coastal rocks lapped by the sea and a fresh, salty sea breeze
Taste: soft notes of sweet peat, smoke and honey - then moist ash, liquorice and a hint of pepper
Finish: long finish, in which the strong aromas and notes come back again clearly
