The Jura distillery on the Scottish island of the same name first allowed this whiskey to mature in classic barrels in which American Bourbon was previously stored. After that, the single malt whiskey was given a finish over several months in former Spanish sherry casks.
The result is a full-bodied, fruity Singel Malt, rich in flavor with pleasant oak and vanilla tones and clear notes of ripe red fruits.
