The name Stroma has its origin in the Old Norse meaning "island of the current", meaning the windswept island of Orcadian.
Stroma refers to the dangerous currents of the island coast in northeastern Scotland, as well as the infamous sea swirl "Swilkie" between the north coast of Scotland and the Orkney Islands.

Stroma is a whiskey liqueur that contains carefully selected, light and particularly strong Old Pulteney Malt whiskeys.
A rounded whiskey liqueur with a sweet taste and a rough undertone, the finish is warm and soothing.

Der Stroma ist sehr süß. Pur ist dieser Liqueur etwas schwierig, aber zum Mixen mit Whisky sehr gut geeignet.
