The third bottling from the series Islay Barley!
Barley grows on the rugged Atlantic coast at Rockside Farm for this single malt whiskey, harvested in 2006 and distilled in 2007

The new untilled Bruichladdich - made from barley from Islay (Rockside Farm)!

Aroma: floral aromas of wild, heather-covered moorland Islay, distinct aromas of juniper, hawthorn and mountain thyme - fruity aromas of ripe grapes, melons, pears and pineapple - plus a hint of cinnamon
Taste: slight oak notes, a clear malty-sweet note, the fruits come back and also a hint juniper is recognizable
Finish: here too the fruits first, then the herbs come back and stay long

Ein typischer Bruichladdich - ausgewogene Aromen ohne zu viel Torf - riecht wie die Gegend, aus der er kommt - ich erinnere mich gut an den Duft der Insel und an den der Bucht, wo die Destille liegt. Leicht und schön zu trinken.
