Portrait: What makes the Scallywag special
Fox terriers are the Laing family's favorite dogs - they provided the inspiration for the Scallywag from the renowned independent bottler from Scotland.
Because the little rascals ("wee Scallywags" ) are known to be sweet and cheeky at the same time - character traits that they share with the spicy and wonderfully sweet Speyside Blended Malt.
Only the finest Speyside Malts, including Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes, are contained in Scallywag.
Bottled with 46% alcohol content and not chill-filtered, This small batch bottling has a bright golden color thanks tomaturation in exBourbon and Spanish exSherry Casks.
The result: a unique malt with a spicy character that merges with a hint of vanilla and a mixture of sweet compote, dark chocolate, aromatic orange and sweet tobacco.
Tasting Notes: This is what the Scallywag tastes like

Nose: intense sweetness of cane sugar, sultanas and candied ginger, plus a little Grain

Palate: again the sweetness, with nutmeg and pastry - then vanilla and cinnamon

Ebenfalls aus der Remarkable Regional Malts- Reihe von Douglas Laing repräsentiert der Whisky die Speyside mit einem angenehmen Geschmack nach Vanille und Frucht.

Bin enttäuscht von diesem Scallywag Schmeckt nur nach Honig und Eichefass Bekommt man in dieser Konstellation günstiger beim A Discounter
