Douglas Laing has selected a 20-year-old cask for the Old Particular series, in which previously stored Spanish sherry.
Aroma: Puffed, brown sugar - scent of freshly baked, with a light citrus aroma and a warming spice
Taste: intense, spicy notes, sweet and syrupy, like soft, red fruits - lots of cocoa
Departure: complex finish, very delicate with an interesting oak note and sweet spices, such as nutmeg and cinnamon
