The Highland distillery Clynelish distilled this single malt in 1997, Douglas Laing filled it after 16 years of storage as single cask bottling in the Old Particular series.
Aroma: light peat flavors, barley with traces of heather honey, sweet vanilla toffee
Taste: more honey, rich, creamy butterscotch, with a pleasant maltiness and muscovado sugar
Finish: the vanilla comes back, then citrus and mocha notes, warming spicy
