This year's Kilchoman 100% Islay bottling is limited to 10,000 bottles worldwide. Kilchoman's 100% Islay quality is the single malt produced from barley grown specifically on the Farm Distillery. At only 20 ppm, the 100% Islay is much easier to poke than the Kilchoman Machir Bay, and thus shows the intense fruity sweetness of the Kilchoman single malt. The third bottling of the 100% Islay quality is a vatting of 4- and 5-year old fresh bourbon barrels and is bottled with 50% alcohol strength, naturally unchillfiltered and no dye.
Aroma: Delicate smell of mild fruits and fruit candies
Taste: floral notes, which combine in the mouth with the sweetly pungent smell of peat smoke
Finish: long, sweet and gentle finish with a beautiful, peaty finish
