Product information "St. Magdalene 30 Year Old 1982/2013 Douglas Laing "Platinum Selection" 58.5% vol. 0,7l"
Bottling auis Douglas Laing's exclusive Platinum Selection.
St. Magdalene was shut down as early as 1983, the Lowland malt is among the best in the country, for a Lowland whiskey relatively high peat content is very atypical.
Aroma: at the beginning "clean" and fresh, caramelized fruits and vanilla, then develops a sweet tobacco character
Taste: Warm spicy, the fruits are present again, plus honey and barley
Finish: the finish is long, clearly Kampher, almost a "Fisherman's Friend style" - and then comes back to the sweet tobacco smoke
Distilled: October 1982
Bottled: February 2013
Edition: 99 bottles
with individual numbering
