Limited bottling of a Caol Ila with an edition of 850 bottles - for the first nine years this malt matured in former bourbon barrels, then the single malt whiskey matured for another eight years in exMadeira wine barrels.
Aroma: sweet dark and candied fruit are clearly visible - the origin of Islay, the whiskey can still not hide: Charcoal and ash to light
Taste: sweet in the taste, the fruits come back, in addition Heidehonig and vanilla, coupled with the peat smoke and the medical notes of a Caol Ila
Finish: long finish, the sweet fruits remain, some leather and smoke
