Glenmorangie Finealta is the second bottling from the Private Edition of Glenmorangie.
Finealta is Gaelic and means "elegant" - the single malt whiskey matured in American oak barrels (white oak) and former Oloroso sherry casks.
Aroma: caramelised oranges and liqueur pickled peaches, roasted almonds, raisins and limes, with a hint of wood smoke
Taste: rich and spicy with traces of tangerines and limes again - in the background cherry brandy and jam toast
Departure: on the finish aromatic smoke, the oranges come back again
