The bottle is delivered in a lavishly designed gift box, including a document signed by George Grant and a small book with the history of Glenfarclas, with many photos, some of them private photos of the Grant family.
Tasting notes:
From the color you expect a light whiskey - but you get a lot of honey-sweetness, which one expects more from a dark malt.
A good portion of sherry, very well balanced.
A buttery, soft whiskey with spicy notes, the finish is short and intense - mouth-filling.
