Single barrel bottling by independent bottler Duncan Taylor from the legendary Grain distillery Nort British.
Grain whiskeys are made from unmalted barley, which gives it a sweeter aroma and flavor than a malt whiskey.
Ripening in the former bourbon barrel, this Grain whiskey has a pronounced caramel and vanilla character, along with light aromas of spices and a sweet taste of maple syrup, a hint of white pepper in the background.
The finish is long with distinct notes of toffee, nutmeg and black pepper.
