Aberlour 12 year old Non Chill Filtered
This means that the whisky is filtered at normal ambient temperature over a metal sieve, so that only residues are collected from the wooden barrel; Flavorers such as fats and oils remain in the whiskey and thus support the aroma and taste of the whisky.
The whisky was stored in former sherry and bourbon Casks.
Nose: initially fruity - citrus and wild strawberries - a little vanilla
Taste: again a lot of fruit, now it is ripe, red fruits, in addition sweet notes of toffee and chocolate, some cinnamon - the sherry influence is noticeable
Finish: long finish with sweet and spicy notes

Bietet weit mehr als die Standardabfüllung und das zu einem sehr guten,fairen Preis. Wer einen tollen nicht rauchigen Single Malt sucht, wird hier fündig. Die 48% Vol. sind gut eingebunden und bringen die Aromen voll zur Geltung. Für mich eher 4,5 Sterne wert. Klare Kaufempfehlung für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene!!

Erstaunlich fruchtiges Aroma - Ansonsten aber auch angenehm komplex mit feinen Gewürz- und Sherry-Anteilen. Zu diesem Preis ein sehr solider Whisky.

toll, was Aberlour für das Geld hier bietet, deutlich besser als der gefilterte 12 jährige, es kommt deutlich mehr rüber
