Product information "North of Scotland Distillery 38 Year Old in 1973 Clan Denny 52% vol. 0,7l"
Bottling by Hunter Hamilton, a small independent bottler from Scotland.
Scotland's largest grain distillery "North of Scotland" was founded in Edinburgh in 1886 by a consortium of blending companies, including Usher.
The goal was to remain independent from the mighty DCL.
Years later, however, it came to a cooperation with DCL, but the company remained the only independent Grain whiskey supplier in Scotland.
Aroma: the influence of the exBourbon barrel is clearly recognizable, so sweet and strong aromas of vanilla, toffee and coffee
Taste: first oak, then creamy and again vanilla - some pineapple and more toffee
Finish: you wish it was longer ... so sweet, very creamy, gently spicy and buttery
Cask-Ref. HH9078
