Glenglassaugh used a single barrel from the Massandra winery in Crimea for this bottling, in which a sort of Madeira wine from Shabash, Sercial and Albillo grapes was previously stored.
Aroma: sweet, dry fruit cake with a spicy touch, BBQ spare ribs with honey and sweet sultanas
Taste: Syrup and sweet, moist Madeira cake with raisins and a touch of ginger, very mild, soft and round
Finish: Madeira cake again, with ginger and anise in the background
