A pleasantly soft and round Clynelish from the Scottish Highlands.
Single barrel bottling by Duncan Taylor.
Aroma: fresh apples and pears dominate, in the background the proximity to the sea, fresh sea air and some seaweed
Taste: first some oak and burned wood, then freshly mown grass, matching gooseberries - all in all, creamy and soft in the mouth
Finish: the finish is soft and round with herbs and oak
