Talisker Island Distillery uses exAmoroso sherry casks from Spain for their version of the Distillers Edition.
The result is, compared to the 10-year standard whiskey, wonderfully rounded, almost oily single malt whiskey whose fruity sweetness harmonizes perfectly with the dry peat smoke and the elegant pepper note, in the background dark chocolate.

Preis im Vergleich zum Standard 10 jährigen ist gerechtfertigt. Im Vergleich zum Storm schneidet der Storm in Preis/Leistung besser ab. Geschmacklich ein Erlebnis und sehr zu empfehlen.
