Bowmore Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.
Aroma: slight peat smoke, salty sea breeze Taste: charred wood, sweet peat, low sugar, more smoke. Finish: good length, dry smoke and peat ash
