Tasting Notes: This is how The Peat Monster Compass Box tastes like
- Nose: thick, peaty smoke, reminiscent of smoked bacon or a campfire by the sea - then a bit medicinal, plus slightly sweet and fruity aromas
- Palate: lots of malt, earthy with clear peat and oak, again the smoked bacon and the sweetness - fruity, papaya and mango
- Finish: overall a slight sweetness, the peat becomes more - spicy and light oak tones

Sehr schöner Blend für Rauchfans in bewährter Compass Box Qualität. Besonders lobenswert ist, dass man auf der Homepage von CB Details über die Zusammensetzung der Blends findet.

Nicht übel. Nicht ganz so viel Peat wie man vielleicht erwartet (oder erhofft) hat. Preisleistungsverhältnis gut. ABER kein Vergleich zu Compass Box No Name No. 3!!! (No. 1 gibt*'s ja leider nicht mehr)

Sehr gefälliger all day drum für eine nen guten Preis. Absolut zu empfehlen für diejenigen, die rauchige Whisky mögen.

Compass Box steht für Blend-Meisterwerke!!! da passt alles. der Rauch gepaart mit fruchtigen Aromen. toll in der Nase. länger Abgang. sehr rauchig. ein must-have!
