Optic Barley is one of the most commonly used barley varieties for whiskey.
Malted with a light peat content of 2ppm (phenol content) matured in sherry casks, this is a malt typical of the Speyside.
A pleasant malt, with the sherry, strong, fruity aromas, a spicy character and a hint of peat.

Das war ein Geschenk für den Schwiegersohn. Er ist begeistert, und sammelt Whiskys. er hat schon über 1000 verschiedene Sorten, und großer Kenner. Und dieser stand noch auf seiner Wunschliste.
