This 19 year old single malt whiskey from the Scottish Highland distillery Fettercairn was distilled on October 10, 1997 and stored in two hogsheads until January 19, 2017, before Signatory married the barrels and bottled them in their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

Aroma: light, fruity aromas of apples and pears, plus some toffee and oak
Taste: pleasantly spicy, the fruits again - this is joined by vanilla and caramel
Finish: mid-length finish - fruity and spicy

Das Mundgefühl ist erwartungsgemäß cremig, fast ölig. Geschmack lässt durchaus erahnen, was er bei einer Fassstärke zu bieten hätte. Jedoch fehlen mir die Akzente und komplexen Noten. Prima geeignet als Anschauungsmaterial bei Tastings bzgl. Non-Chill-Filter …
