Glenfarclas "The Family Casks" 1971/2007 Sherry Butt 57.1% vol. 0,7l
- Order number: 12821
Glenfarclas is one of Scotland's few independent distilleries.
Founded in 1836 and owned by the Grant family since 1865.
John Grant leads Glenfarclas today in its fifth generation.
Glenfarclas is also one of the few distilleries that have produced almost without interruption since its foundation.
This explains the wide range of different fillings from this house.
The Family Casks - 1971
In the series "The Family Casks" a barrel of vintages from 1952 to 1994 was bottled.
If you are looking for a vintage that you can not find in our shop, please do not hesitate to ask.
Limited single-barrel bottling in cask strength with a circulation of 459 bottles.
The bottle is delivered in a elaborately designed hard carton box, including a certificate signed by John Grant and a small book with the history of Glenfarclas, with many photos, some of them private photos of the Grant family.
