Tasting Notes: This is what the Talisker 10 year old tastes like

Nose: the dominant feature is the strong peat smoke and the saltiness of the sea water, as well as fresh oysters and citrus fruits

Palate: soft notes of dried fruits, plus smoke and strong notes of malty barley, with a lot of pepper in the aftertaste

Finish: long-lasting finish, peppery again , warm and appetizingly sweet

Der wahrscheinlich bekannteste Talisker. Wie immer mit 45,8%. Ein whisky wie er sein sollte. Leicht rauchig, etwas Eiche, gering Fruchtig und seine berühmte Chillischärfe. Ein Whisky mit zehn Jahren Reife und doch noch genügend Widheit eines jüngeren. Eine gute Mischung aus beiden Welten. Im Hinblick auf das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis einer der besten Schotten, die man in dieser Preisregion erwerben kann. Ich liebe ihn und er kann bei jedem Tasting sogar zwischen den meisten teureren Vertretern bestehen.
