Strathclyde
The Grain Distillery Strathclyde was built in 1927 in the middle of Glasgow.
From the beginning, Grain Whiskey was also produced here as neutral spirit.
In 2002, the distillery was generously expanded, so that today Strathclyde can take over the production volumes of the already closed distillery Dumbarton.
The famous gin brand "Beefeater" is also produced here.
In earlier times, the distillery housed the Malt distillery Kinclaith.
Unusually, but even more interesting, is the filling of a grain whiskey as a single, plus a single barrel with such an old age.
