Founded in the Eastern Highlands in 1825, Glencadam has been owned since 1954 by Hiram Walker, now Allied Domecq.
The lion's share of the production goes into the Ballantine's blends.
As a single malt he was for a long time only by Gordon & MacPhail and Cadenhead available.
The distillery was closed in 2000 and has since been for sale.
Glencadam is a full, malty digestive malt - wonderfully creamy with traces of berry fruit.
Limited Edition - Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish
Ripened in former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, this whiskey has very nice aromas of vanilla, spices, combined with an elegant sweetness.
The taste is floral and spicy notes, followed by a mix of vanilla and sherry.
The finish is slightly peppery and spicy.

without cold filtration - non-chillfiltered

Ich bin kein Whiskyfan und habe nur nach meinem Bauchgefühl und den entsprechenden Erläuterungen zu diesem Produkt gekauft, da unser Sohn ein bekennender Whiskyfan ist und es für ihn ein Geschenk war. Kam bestens an !!
