Balvenie, built in 1892/93, is now owned by the fifth generation of the Grant family, who also own the neighboring distillery Glenfiddich.
W. & J. Grant are not related to the grants of the Glenfarclas distillery.

Balvenie is an outstanding representative of the Speyside region.
The malt produced here is wonderfully soft, the malt flavor displaces the Torfton without losing strength or even too sweet.

Limited Release

This bottling is a Vatting of a heavily peated Balvenie and a classically matured Balvenie from barrels of American white oak.
The result is a whiskey with soft, smoky notes, followed by oak, honey and vanilla.
Over time you will taste cinnamon and nutmeg.
The finish is sweet and spicy with a hint of smoke.
