Glen Garioch was founded in 1798 in the Eastern Highlands.
The distillery belongs since 1970 to the Morrison family (Bowmore).
Glen Garioch rested from 1995 to 1997.
It has been producing consistently since 1997 and has even brought the old malting floors back to life.

Nose: creamy-oily with spicy, slightly peppery notes - hints of lime and grapefruit
Taste: again the fruits, reminiscent of dessert wine, some chocolate - plus more seasoning and smoked ham
Finish: some smoke, oak, fruit and again chocolate
