Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.
Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.
For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.
Port Charlotte - "An Turas Mor"
"An turas Mor" (Gaelic for: "the big journey").
The first multi-vintage malt from Port Charlotte - compiled from the years PC5 to PC8.
Matured in 100% American oak barrels, bottled at 46% vol. and a peat content of 40ppm.

Falls man noch eine Flasche bekommen sollte, unbedingt kaufen.
Eine gute Mischung mit rauchigen Noten.
